We are keen for a detail-driven and customer focussed individual who will be responsible for key functions such as processing and managing invoices raised, payments received, debt collection and bank reconciliations. You will also be adept at providing support to the accounts payable function.
Your strong time management and organisation skills will help you meet deadlines with confidence. Experience with accounting systems – or the ability to quickly learn Microsoft Dynamics D365 - will add significant value to our team and help us deliver exceptional customer service.

About your new role...
You will play as key role as part of the of the busy and established Finance team where your experience in accounts receivable adds great value. Primarily your focus will be maintaining the sundry accounts receivable system and completing daily back reconciliations.
In addition, previous experience allows you to provide administrative support to the team including accounts payable. Known for being organised and with exceptional attention to detail, a foundation of accounts receivable knowledge allows you to inform and assist relevant stakeholders and customers.
This role also provides an opportunity for you to further advance your knowledge and where your skills in accuracy, organisation and service will shine. It is suited to someone eager and willing to embrace opportunities and who possesses a commitment to providing high quality outcomes and customer service.
The position will be based at GVWs Administration Centre in Fryers Street – in Shepparton’s CBD Hub. You will have the ability to work flexibly, in line with GVW’s flexible working policy.

About you...
To be considered for this role you must have demonstrated some of the following:
- Certificate 3 or above in accounting (preferred)
- Knowledge of accounts receivable practices and principles including debt collection
- Ability to perform relevant accounting tasks including accounts payable.
- Proficiency in financial accounting systems and Microsoft Office;
*Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, Excel (desirable) - Proven ability to engage collaboratively, influence and negotiate with a range of stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Time management and organisation skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Passionate about providing a positive customer experience
- Strong OHS commitment and focus.

- Classification GVW2: $58,500 - $78,532 + super (salary starting point is dependent upon relevant qualifications, skills, and experience)
