We’re seeking a proactive and solutions-focused Field Business Liaison Officer to support coordination across operational activities, working closely with field teams and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient service delivery.

 

Ideally, you will bring experience in business administration, operational support or procurement within a service delivery or infrastructure environment. Known for your organisation, attention to detail and collaborative approach, you are comfortable working across multiple priorities and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.

About your new role...

As a Field Business Liaison Officer, you will:

  • Support planning and scheduling of maintenance activities in collaboration with Service Delivery teams 
  • Coordinate operational support activities, including maintenance, depot and project support 
  • Assist with procurement of goods and services and management of contractor arrangements 
  • Utilise systems (e.g. Maximo) to create and manage work orders and track operational activities 
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting to support operational and budget outcomes 
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery and operational efficiency 

You will be joining a collaborative and supportive team within Operational Support and Integration. The role is based in Seymour, with flexibility available where operationally appropriate.
 

About you...

We're looking for someone with:

  • A Certificate IV or higher in Business Administration (or equivalent experience in a related field)
  • Experience in business administration, procurement or operational support, ideally in an essential services or infrastructure environment
  • Strong computer literacy, particularly in systems used for works, procurement or project management
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and manage competing tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams and stakeholders
  • A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving capability
  • A collaborative approach and commitment to continuous improvement

  • Classification GVW3: $80,137 - $97,767 + superannuation (starting salary point is negotiable dependent upon relevant, qualifications, skills, and experience demonstrated)
