Goulburn Valley Water (GVW) provides quality water and wastewater services to 54 towns in North Central Victoria. Our purpose is to support healthy and prosperous communities.
We are seeking a highly organised and customer focused Land Development Support Officer to provide vital administrative and data management support to our Planning Referrals team.
This part-time role plays a key part in enable the delivery of water and sewer infrastructure required to service new subdivisions, while supporting positive outcomes for Councils, Consultants, Developers and internal stakeholders.
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, coordinating information across teams and assisting customers through the land development planning and approvals process in line with statutory timeframes.
You are an organised and detailed oriented administrator with strong communication skills and a customer focused approach. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, can manage competing priorities and enjoy working collaboratively across teams.
About your new role...
In this role you will be responsible for supporting the land development process in relation to water and wastewater infrastructure.
Your strengths in communication and building relationships will enable you to work closely with teams across the Corporation. Externally you will foster positive relationships with local Councils and the Land Development industry to support regional growth.
If not already familiar, you will have the ability to quickly develop a solid understanding of land development processes, water and wastewater infrastructure and relevant regulations.
Based at the Shepparton Operations Centre where you will enjoy being part of a collaborative working environment alongside technical and operational staff with the added benefit of hassle-free parking. You also be supported to work flexibly, where possible, in line with GVWs Flexible Working Policy.
About you...
We're looking for someone with:

- Certificate 3 in Business Administration or similar is preferred.
- Experience in a customer service and administrative environment.
- Strong ability to maintain accurate records.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information to diverse audiences.
- Strong computer, administrative and report writing skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage your time effectively.
- Strong OHS commitment and focus.
- Committed to contributing positively to your team and the organisation.

- Classification GVW2: $58,500 - $78,532 + super (salary starting point is dependent upon relevant qualifications, skills, and experience)
