n an exciting period of growth, we are seeking a Planning and Scheduling Coordinator to establish a new team and new ways of working in regard to planned and reactive maintenance activities delivered by Service Delivery across GVW’s operating area.
An experienced team leader you will be responsible for managing and optimising the planning and scheduling function to support overall operational effectiveness of the Service Delivery team.
With an ability to inspire, guide and manage, you will build a cross functional team to work collaboratively to drive change and new practice across our operational workforce.

About your new role...
The key focus of this role is to be a champion for change, where you will lead the integration of new processes to optimise maintenance programs, bringing the workforce on the journey.
The position will also be responsible for the operational performance and compliance reporting function for the activities delivered by Service Delivery.
With a proven ability to lead and motivate high performing teams, this is an excellent opportunity to steer a team to establish and drive new practices to ensure service continuity and asset reliability for our operational footprint where we provide water and wastewater services to more than 50,000 households and more than 130,000 people in our region.
Reporting to the Manager – Operational Support and Integration, this position will supervise workforce at our Shepparton sites with potential for Seymour as a satellite site. The role requires travel to implement change management across operational teams. You will be afforded the ability to work flexibly, in line with GVW’s flexible working policy.
About you...
To be considered for this role you must have demonstrated some of the following:

- Degree or above in Business, Science or associated discipline or a lesser qualification with a minimum of 7 years relevant experience
- Diploma or above in Management (not essential)
- Certificate 3 or above in Water Industry Operations (not essential).
- Proven ability to manage and motivate individuals and teams to achieve high performance and accountability.
- Strong background in planning and scheduling within water or wastewater management or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including stakeholder, written and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proficient in using asset management and work planning systems.
- Strong OHS commitment and focus.
- Committed to contributing positively to your team and the organisation.

- Classification SEO1: $115,173 - $135,423 + superannuation (starting salary point is negotiable dependent upon relevant, qualifications, skills, and experience demonstrated)
