In an exciting period of growth, we are seeking a Planning and Scheduling Liaison Officer to play a key role in enabling planned and reactive maintenance activities delivered by Service Delivery across GVW’s operating area.

Experience in predictive and preventative maintenance of service infrastructure and operational assets are complemented by your qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or plumbing.

About your new role...
The key focus of this role is to develop and maintain a forward-looking pipeline of work, preparing detailed job plans for programs of work and ensuring tasks are accurately scoped, prioritised and scheduled.
With a strong focus on efficient resource utilisation, timely execution of maintenance tasks and overall operational effectiveness, you will collaborate closely with various teams across the business to ensure all activities are aligned with organisational priorities, regulatory requirements and service delivery objectives.
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a new team championing change who will establish and drive new practices to ensure service continuity and asset reliability for our operational footprint where we provide water and wastewater services to more than 50,000 households and more than 130,000 people in our region.
Reporting to the Planning and Scheduling Coordinator, the role can be based in Shepparton or Seymour and will require you to work across all GVW sites. You will be afforded the ability to work flexibly, in line with GVW’s flexible working policy.
About you...
To be considered for this role you must have demonstrated some of the following:
- Certificate 4 or above in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or a trade qualification in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or Plumbing with extensive experience in industry maintenance particularly in the essential service industry.
- Certificate 3 in Water Industry Operations (not essential).
- Experience in predictive and preventative maintenance of service infrastructure and operational assets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including stakeholder, written and presentation skills.
- Strong computer skills in particular works management and project management systems and MS Office.
- Strong OHS commitment and focus.
- Committed to contributing positively to your team and the organisation.

- Classification GVW3: $80,137 - $97,767 + superannuation (starting salary point is negotiable dependent upon relevant, qualifications, skills, and experience demonstrated)
