Goulburn Valley Water (GVW) provides quality water and wastewater services to 54 towns in North Central Victoria. Our purpose is to support healthy and prosperous communities.
We are seeking a highly skilled Process Control and Engineering Coordinator to provide technical leadership and governance across GVW’s Operational Technology (OT) environment.
As a key member of the Operational Control and Maintenance (OCM) team, you will drive process control standards, oversee Management of Change (MoC) practices and ensure our OT systems are safe, resilient and fit for purpose across operations and projects.

About your new role...
In this critical leadership role, you will guide GVW’s process control and OT engineering practices, ensuring consistent standards, robust governance and reliable system performance across operational environments.
In this leadership role you will:
- Lead and provide technical expertise in process control and OT engineering, fostering a strong safety first and customer focused culture
- Establish and drive MoC practices, configuration control and engineering standards across the organisation
- Support operational teams and capital projects with safe, consistent and fit for purpose control solutions
- Manage and prioritise engineering work, provide incident support and oversee contractor and budget activities
- Promote continuous improvement, asset lifecycle optimisation and cybersecurity compliance across OT systems
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen operational performance and governance
This position is based in Shepparton and includes some travel across GVW sites. Flexible work arrangements are available, where operationally appropriate, in line with GVW policy.
About you...
We're looking for someone with:

- Degree or above in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a lesser relevant qualification with a minimum 7 years relatable experience
- Diploma or above in Management or Leadership or a lesser relevant qualification with a minimum 7 year’s experience managing a team in an OT environment
- Demonstrated experience in process control systems or control systems engineering within an OT or industrial environment
- Proven ability to lead and develop multi-disciplinary teams, including coaching and performance management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to build effective relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
- A commitment to safety leadership and continuous improvement

- Classification SEO1: $125,150 - $145,400+ superannuation (starting salary point is negotiable dependent upon relevant, qualifications, skills, and experience demonstrated)
