About the Company

As a customer-focused professional with a passion for providing technical support and assistance, you will be a valued and integral member of our Technical Services team.
In this busy and varied role, you will work closely with customers, plumbers, consultants, developers and internal stakeholders to deliver excellent service outcomes and ensure compliance with GVW requirements. Using your knowledge of plumbing, water and sewer connection processes, you will provide technical advice, interpret plans and assist customers through a range of property-related enquiries.
About your new role...
Primarily, you will manage the administrative processes associated with water and property connections, ensuring efficient and timely service delivery while maintaining compliance with the Corporation's requirements and relevant legislation.
This will include:
- Assessing water and sewer connection applications and providing advice on connection requirements, policies and procedures.
- Responding to customer, trade and developer enquiries and facilitating service requests with internal and external stakeholders.
- Managing invoicing, property agreements, consent documentation, backflow requests and other connection-related administration.
- Maintaining accurate records and providing information relating to water and sewer assets, property services and infrastructure.
- Assisting with land development, planning and subdivision enquiries, metering activities and fault call coordination.
Based at the Shepparton Operations Centre where you will enjoy being part of a working environment amongst technical and operational staff with the bonus of hassle-free parking.
About you...
We're looking for someone with:
- Certificate 3 or above in Business or a related field and/or minimum 3 year’s experience in a similar role
- Knowledge and experience in plumbing, water and sewerage connection procedures and requirements
- Demonstrated commitment, ability and experience in resolving customer enquiries whilst providing a strong customer focus.
- Intermediate computer skills with the ability to learn and adapt to multiple systems including MS Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with colleagues and interacting with customers and stakeholders.
- Strong organisational, self-management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

- Classification GVW2: $60,255 - $80,888 + super (starting point is dependent upon relevant, qualifications, skills and experience)
